ABOUT. Metro Vocal Group is a dynamic and innovative vocal group based in Hong Kong. The members Kevin, Sean, Eric and Mike all hail from the United States and moved to Hong Kong in the spring of 2005.
History. The group formed in 1957 and recorded their first album Sing a Song of Basie for ABC-Paramount Records.The album featured versions of Count Basie standards and was successful enough that the Count Basie Orchestra collaborated with them on Sing Along With Basie (1959).
This vocal group section contains CDs by ‘classic’ groups – the originals, so to speak. Due to the many artists available, this section only contains groups starting with the letter ‘A’ and ends with the letter ‘M’.
