Caprolactam (CPL) is the main raw material to produce Nylon 6. CPL is made from cyclohexane and ammonia. Nylon 6 is a high strength material used in a broad range of applications such as bathing suits, underwear, tires, industrial textiles, seatbelts, and engineering plastics.
